Thing #15

I really couldn't figure out much to do with the APSU 23 Things wiki, so I just added a couple of links and left comments here and there. I did feel a bit of a thrill knowing that I could make any change I wanted to a site that several other people have contributed to.

I still don't feel wiki-literate, but I know enough to say that I think wikis could be used in the classroom if a teacher was willing to devote the time and energy into making one. Some aspects of creating a wiki seem very time consuming to me, but it would be worth the trouble if it enhanced my class in any way. They would be a great way to teach writing skills to students and also a fantastic tool for collaborative writing. A page could be assigned to each student and/or team of students.
