I set up an account with Google Reader, because it seemed like the RSS reader for dummies, which is what I am. Instantly I was able to see the blogs I am following from this site, and I proceeded to add feeds from AOL News, YouTube, The Tennessean, and other sites. To be honest I had no clue that this sort of thing was available at all, and I'm thrilled at the idea of seeing all the sites I would normally check, combined into one neatly organized page! There is so much a teacher could do with this knowledge! For example: A teacher could save so much time searching for news headlines for a current events discussion.
